In the early 1970s the "market" began to demand
a trailer which could haul a
larger quantity of garbage, demolition debris, etc in a safer manner
than the
standard dump trailer. In 1972 Steco engineered and manufactured
the very
first open-top push-out transfer trailer for the industry. Since
that time, Steco
has continued to lead the way in the development of transfer trailers,
balancing the market demand for increased payload and sustained
trailer durability.
