In the late 1950's, Steco began manufacturing dump trailers for the demolition and refuse industries. The company was founded on a commitment to building the highest quality trailer on the market. As an early pioneer in the development and production of hydraulic dump trailers, Steco emerged as an innovative and quality leader in the industry.

In 1972, Steco engineered and manufactured the very first open-top, push-out transfer trailer for the waste industry. Even today, Steco continues to lead the way in the development/improvement of transfer trailers.

Today, Steco is backed by the vast resources of its parent company, Blue Tee Corp., one of the country's premier privately held industrial holding companies. Steco's corporate office and manufacturing facility are housed in a state-of-the-art facility which spans over 400,000 square feet.
